Enhanced access
If you become unwell and need medical attention after the surgery is closed phone the urgent care service on 111. This service is for urgent medical conditions only. In the event that you cannot get through on the phone and the matter is life threatening, dial 999 and request an ambulance.
If you need to see a doctor and the surgery is closed, and it is not an emergency, please go to your local Weymouth Community Urgent Care Centre (CUCC), located at:
Weymouth Community Hospital
Melcombe Avenue
Weymouth
Dorset
DT4 7TB.
The walk-in centre is open 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm.
Out of hours services are generally busy, so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute as an emergency.
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
Accessibility
Royal Manor Health Care has two surgeries; both have easy access with all consultation rooms and treatment rooms at ground floor level. They also have easy access entrances, disabled toilet facilities and hearing loops.
