You can make an appointment the following ways:

The telephone lines are extremely busy in the morning and early afternoon, so if you do not require an urgent appointment for that day, please call after 10:30 to pre-book an advance appointment.

Pre-bookable appointments are available for all patients, up to six weeks in advance.

Online Services

Did you know you can book your appointments online?

Using online services makes it more convenient as there is no need to make a phone call or visit us.  Computer, smartphone or tablet users can make or cancel appointments at a time that suits them, even when the practice is closed.

You can register for our GP online services by completing our online form.

There is an emergency doctor on duty from Monday to Friday between 08:00 – 08:30, 12:30 – 13:30 and 18:00 – 18:30.

Telephone Advice

If you are in need of non-urgent telephone advice from the doctor, the best time to telephone is before 10:00 or after 14:00 and your name and contact number will be added to the duty doctor’s list.  He/she will call you back between 10:00 and 13:00.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. If you need to cancel your appointment you can do this online or via telephone.

New Ways of Working

Royal Manor Health Care has changed the way that GP appointments are accessed.  When patients call for appointments the initial consultation will be with an advanced nurse practitioner. The the question and answer sheet provides more detailed information.

Should any patient have a concern please contact the practice manager, Sharon Prior, for more information.
